What we like, and what we don’t
Worth having
- 1.5% on everything even without a Rogers or Shaw business service, which beats every other free business card
- 2% for businesses with an eligible Rogers or Shaw business subscription
- No annual fee
- Redeeming against a Rogers or Shaw bill applies a 1.5 times multiplier
- A flat rate with no categories and no caps published
Watch out for
- The 2% rate requires an active Rogers or Shaw business service in good standing
- The advertised 3% value needs both the 2% tier and redemption against a Rogers bill
- A 2.5% foreign transaction fee
- No travel insurance despite the World Elite branding
- A personal guarantee is required

The earning fine print
Two-tier structure. 'Eligible 2% Customers' (must actively subscribe to at least one eligible Rogers or Shaw BUSINESS service. Internet, TV, phone or postpaid wireless. And be in good standing) earn 2 points per $1 (2%) on CAD purchases. Everyone else earns 1.5 points per $1 (1.5%) on CAD purchases. Both tiers earn 3 points per $1 (3%) on purchases made in US dollars. Redemption: 1 point = $0.01 as statement credit, minimum $10 redemption, against transactions posted within the prior 90 days. Points redeemed against Rogers purchases are worth 1.5x (150%). That is the source of the '3% cashback value, exclusively with Rogers' headline.

What the benefits really mean
The most overlooked genuine business credit card outside the big six. A no-annual-fee World Elite business card from a telecom-owned Schedule I bank. PERSONAL GUARANTEE / LIABILITY: the Rogers Bank Business Cardholder Agreement states 'The Primary Cardholder and the Business are jointly and individually (solidarily in Quebec) responsible for and must repay us the Balance owing on your Account', i.e. The individual signer is personally on the hook, functionally a personal guarantee. Non-rewards perks: 5 Roam Like Home days at no cost every year on Rogers business mobile plans (stated up to $90 value), Cyberscout identity and cybersecurity protection, and 24/7 legal support access. Cash advance fee $5.00 per advance. Grace period minimum 21 days from the last day of the statement period on purchases; no grace period on cash advances or balance transfers. Minimum payment: greater of $10.00 plus interest and fees, or 2% of statement balance (5% for Quebec residents). Note the disclosure states the purchase rate increases from 20.99% to 21.99% in August 2026, and that alternate (higher-risk) pricing of 25.99% purchases / 27.99% cash advances exists. Insurance package is not detailed in the business benefits guide, which covers only rewards and the Roam Like Home benefit, treat all insurance as unverified. The headline '3% cashback value' requires BOTH earning at the 2% tier (which requires an active Rogers/Shaw business service subscription) AND redeeming points against Rogers purchases at the 1.5x multiplier. Redeem against anything else and points are worth 1 cent. Without a Rogers or Shaw business service you earn only 1.5%, not 2%. 3% on US-dollar purchases is eroded by the 2.5% foreign currency conversion markup, netting roughly nothing. The purchase rate rises from 20.99% to 21.99% in August 2026 per Rogers' own disclosure. Alternate pricing of 25.99%/27.99% may be assigned at Rogers Bank's discretion. The business owner is jointly and severally (solidarily in Quebec) liable. This is a personal guarantee in substance despite no PG document. Insurance coverages are not documented in the business benefits guide; do not assume the personal World Elite package applies.
Our verdict
The floor is what makes this card. Even with no Rogers relationship at all it pays 1.5% on everything with no fee, which is half a point better than the best free bank business card in this comparison and has no categories to track. If you do have a Rogers or Shaw business line, 2% puts it ahead of cards charging $175.
Discount the 3% figure in the marketing. It requires being on the 2% tier and then spending your rewards on a Rogers bill, and if you redeem against anything else the points are worth a cent. Also worth noting: this is a World Elite Mastercard with no travel insurance, so do not assume the tier brings coverage with it.
