The Business Accounts Agreement is explicit: 'Keep is not a bank and therefore value held as a Balance in your Business Account represents an unsecured claim against Keep and is not insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) or any other deposit protection scheme.' This is the only product in this survey that disclaims deposit insurance outright. The balance is a claim on the fintech itself, so a Keep failure is a credit loss to the customer. Keep does not name a partner institution: routing details 'are for accounts held by Keep and its affiliates' and funds are 'credited to your Business Account, which is held by us'. Fees are disclosed per transaction at confirmation rather than published as a schedule, so monthly_fee and transaction fees are null. One published figure: failed transaction fee CAD$100.
